There were signs all about. Tracks, nibbled shrubs out back, a quick sighting from the kids one morning. Finally, s/he showed up out our back window.
Arctic Hares are common out here. Their tracks are all throughout the brush along the side the river. Along with those tracks are often the red fox. The Arctic Fox is found out along the coast.
S/he took off and these photos are from the front window. Super alert, the hare kept its head moving side to side.
